We’re running a webinar on how to participate in twitter and #nzlead on the 3rd September NZ time. This is a collaborative project and you can find the introduction to it here. Here is where we are at:
Step One: The webinar name
Thank you to Rebecca Clarke for her truly profound suggestion of calling it a Tweetorial. I’ve not heard anything better and this seems to be the popular option so there we go, done.
Step Two: Marketing strategy
This is quite simple really (I like it when things are simple). We promote it as a ‘bring a friend’ type event. If you are already an active participant in #nzlead and have an HR friend or colleague that is kind of interested in twitter, but not sure how to start, then get them to register for the webinar. They will then also have a friendly face when they get onboard. I’ll be posting up the webinar registration link this week so watch this space. Numbers will be capped at 20 people. What do you think? Anything missed? Could do better?
Step Three: Design the webinar
I’ve done an initial design and I have to attach a disclaimer to it. It’s not anywhere near the standard I want for this webinar! But I’ve done that on purpose, well sort of anyway. But I really want your feedback! If you’ve messaged me already you’ll be getting an email shortly. If not, it’s not too late to take part.
